About Us

MYABILITYLAB

Our Mission

At My Ability Lab, we are dedicated to creating a world where children with disabilities are empowered to reach their full potential. Our mission is to foster collaboration between families, educators, professionals, and anyone interested in learning more about disabilities. By providing valuable resources, practical guidance, and fostering open dialogue, we support children—especially those with visual impairments, deafblindness, and multiple disabilities—by focusing on what they can achieve.

Our goal!

We aim to create collaborative teams and promote partnerships that make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with disabilities worldwide. Whether you're a family member, professional, educator, or simply someone interested in learning and advocating for a more inclusive world, we invite you to connect and join us on this journey of empowerment and transformation. Together, we can build a supportive, inclusive community that celebrates every child. Together we can do so much!

Dimitra Nellopoulou

About the Founder

My name is Dimitra Nellopoulou, and I am deeply committed to promoting inclusive education and advocacy for individuals with disabilities. With a Bachelor's degree in Special Education and a Master's degree in Deafblindness, I have focused my career on educating children with visual impairments, deafblindness, and multiple disabilities. I am also proficient in Greek Sign Language, allowing me to support individuals with diverse communication styles.

In 2023, I had the privilege of participating in the Educational Leadership Program at the prestigious Perkins School for the Blind in Massachusetts, USA. This experience enriched my knowledge and expanded my perspective on global educational practices for individuals with disabilities.

My passion for education and my unwavering belief that every child deserves access to high-quality education motivates me daily. Through My Ability Lab, I aim to share this vision and create a space for everyone—whether personally involved or simply passionate about making a difference—where we can learn, grow, and collaborate.
