BlackOut Cocktail Edition – Challenging the Senses, One Cocktail at a Time
Ever wondered what it’s like to party without using your sight?
On Tuesday, April 8th, Casablanca Social Club in Thessaloniki is flipping the script on your typical night out with BlackOut Cocktail Edition—a one-of-a-kind event where cocktails, music, and conversation all happen in total darkness.
This isn’t your usual happy hour.
Guests will experience what it’s like to navigate the world without vision—from finding your seat to sipping your drink—all with the help of expert guides trained in techniques used by people with visual impairments. The goal? To step into someone else’s shoes for a night, have fun doing it, and maybe walk away seeing the world a little differently.
There’ll be no spoilers about what’s in store—just know to expect surprises, a few challenges, and plenty of reasons to laugh, reflect, and connect.
BlackOut Cocktail Edition is the result of a powerful collaboration between Anorasis, the Panhellenic Association of the Blind (Central Macedonia chapter), SAEK Pylaia-Chortiatis for People with Disabilities, Lions Club Thessaloniki Heraklea, and is proudly supported by the Municipality of Thessaloniki and the Region of Central Macedonia.
